The purpose of THERELIVE is to bring the eyewitness accounts of bloggers to the attention of the widest possible audience.My own initiation into "there live" blogging was the 2006 Thai coup. In 2007 I received the Reporters Without Borders Award for my blog, Jotman.com, from the German broadcaster Deutsche Welle. Since then I have live-blogged various events in Asia, Europe, Australia, and North America.
